Unistem is a day where high school students can get acquainted with stem cell research. During previous editions of this mini-symposium, various experts shared their insights on stem cell research, a patient discussed what it's like to live with a chronic illness, and several staff members explained what it’s like to work in a laboratory. By participating in Unistem, you can find out if stem cell research might be part of your future!

Since 2023, 3 October University has been revamped. Instead of lectures, we now have a full-fledged Science Fair with fun facts, scientific games, and treasure hunts. Leiden University organizes this in collaboration with LVVS Augustinus, creating a market full of stalls with fun facts, scientific games, and interactive tours. There’s something for everyone to discover and learn, no matter your age!
Our researchers will also be there to teach you all about stem cell research. Will you win the stem cell game this year?
